We heard back from our clinic in SF this past weekend. It's been a hard few days. We found out that only one embryo out of the four we had, will be suitable for implantation.
We are thankful for one, we know what a huge blessing one is….
we were just hoping for a few more.
The doctors were able to freeze a few of Jake's swimmers
which will give us one more chance at IVF
and one more chance at creating a sibling for our lone embryo.
We will have a phone call with our doctor today to learn more about our options
and where he suggests we go from here.
Going to church yesterday was hard. I cried most of sacrament meeting; but oh how I needed to hear the strong testimonies of those in our ward family. They spoke of the love Heavenly Father has for us and his desire for us to be happy in this life. They spoke of courage and triumph over trials through the help of our savior. These members bore testimony that Christ lives!
I don't think I could have make it through out the rest of the day with out those powerful reminders of what I already knew to be true. Heavenly Father has a plan for us and as we follow the commandments, I know we will be led by his hand.
One of Jake's aunts posted this beautiful quote yesterday: "Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like & celebrating it for everything that it is." - Mandy Hale
So Jake and I celebrate, we move forward and we look for opportunities to serve.
This next week will be a busy one. Jake and I will be going on pioneer trek with the youth.
We have been called to be a Ma and Pa.
As we prepare, we do so prayerfully, knowing that God is with us.
I have a testimony of this gospel and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
I know my Savior Lives!
May we all be reminded, "Happy Day, all is well."
