It's Friday!

Wow, this week has sure gone by fast and I'm glad it has. Weekends are my absolute favorite! 

Jake and I are going to sit back and relax this weekend which will feel so extremely great because we've been busy and I feel a little like I'm coming down with a cold. 

Today I wanted to give a shout out to Tanner Dance and the beautiful new building they just moved into, which you can see here. I grew up dancing with Tanner Dance and even attended their preschool. I continued dancing with them and Children's Dance Theater all the way till my Sr. year in High School. 

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the new building dedication and it was absolutely lovely. I'm so thankful for the role that dance has played in my life and for the Tanner Dance family I feel such a part of. Honestly being at the dedication yesterday made me a little sad that I don't take advantage of the opportunities I have to dance or teach dance as often as I would like to or should. Although while I watched the beautiful fluid program of dancers paint the stage, I felt in my heart that I am where I need to be right now and most of all that I am doing what my Heavenly Father has prepared for me to do. 

Life takes us in all different and unexpected twists and turns, but I have a strong testimony that our Heavenly Father has created an individual plan for each of us. He knows us, he loves us and he wants us to succeed.
