Today is my last day of work at the U of U. I have decided to move on with my career and go into teaching. Next year I will be teaching at Legacy Preparatory Academy in Woodscross, UT. Not only will I get to be the dance teacher, but I will be teaching Spanish as well. I will teach 7th, 8th and 9th graders and couldn't be more happy about it. I feel really great about the decision, and about this new opportunity. I know my husband and I are being watched over and protected daily by our Father in Heaven and I know he has been a huge help in making my dreams of teaching come true.
This fall I will be starting the Master's of Education program at USU. I told my husband that I think I was drawn to USU so much because their colors are Blue and White, which makes me feel right at home :) YAY!!! For school!
We have been able to go on some awesome hikes these last few weeks.
| This was a very windy hike! |
| Mt. Timpanogos was incredible. If you go, you MUST do the cave. It's an hour tour though a mind blowing, breath taking cave right here in Utah. |
AMELIA:
I am totally obsessed with my friend Tricia's baby! She is the sweetest, most precious baby I have ever met. Jake and I have loved the time we have been able to spend with her and her mommy!
DREAMATHON:
Date night was so much fun this past week! We went to an art gallery that has been built in an old abandoned school. The focus is to help children realize and go after their dreams. We went with Jared and Sharry, Jake's brother and sister in-law. We had a BLAST! The artists have created such a cool environment and so many interactive pieces of art.
