I think this picture of Jake dunking the ball is SWEET!
Here we are, all together. It's kind of hard to see everyone since this picture is really blurry. The birthday boy though is the third in from the left.
I also had a chance to dance in the East High Dance Company Concert. They invited alumni to come and perform with them. I was a little hesitant at first since I hadn't been in my High School since I graduated, 8 years ago. It turned out though to be a really neat experience and I made some new friends along the way.
p.s. I used this as an excuse to pull out the fake eyelashes... I LOVED IT!
Ok, this part of the weekend wasn't fun. I had to have a lot of blood drawn. I thought I would be totally fine but the slow drip combined with not eating before, didn't go over so well. I have never felt so sick after giving blood before. Lesson learned, always eat if you can before having your blood drawn.
We just didn't know what was best.
In Other News:
Sunday we celebrated St. Patrick's Day by inviting Family over to our house for green waffles which turned out to be a blast! I wish I had thought to take pictures. It was a gorgeous day so we were able to eat outside on our back porch.
Monday SAJ or Sara Jarmin one of my good friends from BYU came over. We ate and hung out. It is great to have her back in SLC. Hopefully she sticks around.
Tonight will be another adventure. We have 10, 11year old scouts coming over to our house. They will be learning how to make a fire and cook themselves dinner. In this case, against my rejections they will be eating hot dogs. I think it will be fun. They are all really sweet boys.
Happy Wednesday!
